Developing a cooperation network among governments, institutions and companies in the energy and minerals sectors to unify visions and coordinate action plans.
Investment promotion
Encouraging Arab and international investment and valorizing the region's opportunities into concrete projects.
Energy transition
Supporting renewable-energy, green-hydrogen, energy-efficiency and clean-energy projects and emissions reduction.
Mining sector development
Developing an Arab mining sector aligned with international best practices and sustainable resource management.
Research, innovation & technology transfer
Stimulating scientific research, integrating new technologies, and supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in both sectors.
Economic diplomacy & international partnerships
Building partnerships with Arab, regional and international institutions to strengthen the position of Arab countries in the energy and mining industries.
2026–2030 Roadmap
At the press conference following the General Assembly, the founding committee unveiled the Union's annual programme and its 2026–2030 roadmap, designed to launch initiatives, projects and partnerships serving the development of the energy and minerals sectors in Arab countries.
Completing the institutional build-out: forming the Superior Council, Board of Directors, General Secretariat and specialized commissions, and launching membership.
Activating the cooperation network, building partnerships with Arab, regional and international institutions, and launching first sectoral initiatives.
Launching structured projects in energy transition and sustainable mining, and programmes for research, innovation and technology transfer.
